Very roasted and rich with some dark fruit notes. There are strong notes of dark chocolate and coffee.

Dark brown with ruby highlights. Light brown head.

Flavor
Dark chocolate and roasted grains dominate. Light burnt notes and even some slight smoke are present. No specific hop flavors are present. The hops are well balanced with the malt.

Mouthfeel
Medium body and medium carbonation. Medium-high astringency gives a nice bite to the mouthfeel.

Overall
Good example of the style. Very drinkable beer that is well balanced
